The Popular Action socio-political movement leaders are maintaining that the Communist authorities are doing all in their power to intimidate the citizens who have joined the movement. Sergiu Mocanu, Popular Action Chairman and former Adviser-at-Large to President Vladimir Voronin, stated at a news conference in Infotag today that the Ungheni raion police commissariat had lately resorted to unprecedented actions against certain residents of the Cornesti village.
