​POLISH ARTISTS PAINT APARTMENT HOUSE WALL

Polish artists, jointly with Moldovan colleagues, painted a picture on the wall of a Chisinau nine-storey building. It represents a boy on bike, above whom storks are flying.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Poland to Moldova Artur Michalski said during Thursday’s presentation of the project that this is already the fourth work of Polish artists in Moldova’s capital city, expressing hope for further cooperation with the Chisinau authorities for implementing new ideas.

The realizing of the painting took 5 days and is aimed at reminding to Chisinau citizens of their childhood, said the Ambassador.

Chisinau Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca appreciated the Poland’s initiative on decorating city, promising to continue cooperation and providing support to such projects.

The project appeared as a result of cooperation between the Polish Institute in Bucharest and Chisinau Primaria [city government].

“By means of the work, realized in Chisinau we wanted to attract the society’s attention to the topic of children’s rights”, said representative of Polish Institute in Bucharest Anna Nicolau.
