MOLDOVAN EDUCATION DIPLOMAS TO BE RECOGNIZED IN SPAIN
An agreement on mutual recognition of diplomas, scientific and pedagogical degrees between Moldova and Spain was signed at the Friday’s parliamentary Standing Committee for Foreign Policy and European Integration.
Deputy Minister of Education Cristina Boaghi said that despite Moldova’s participation in the Lisbon Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education, such bilateral agreements are necessary. They will allow quickly and efficiently simplifying the process of recognizing by means of direct cooperation between the ministries of Moldova and Spain.
“Also, a special information service was created within our Ministry, where anyone can find out anything about the necessary package of documents and the terms of diploma confirmation”, she said.
Infotag’s dossier: The Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education was adopted in Lisbon (Portugal) in 1997. It includes 53 countries. Moldova joined the convention in 1999.
