​SUNSTROKE PROJECT TO REPRESENT MOLDOVA AT EUROVISION 2017

The national finale of the 2017-Eurovision Song Contest was held on Saturday, when the music band SunStroke Project was selected to represent Moldova in Kiev in May. The band got an equal score with the collective Ethno Republic & Surorile Osoianu, but the jury preferred SunStroke Project. In 2010, the group has already participated in the contest together with singer Olya Tira in Oslo [Norway]. Back then, Moldova took the 22nd place. In the last three years, Moldova’s representatives were not able to come to the contest finale. According to the toss, Moldova will perform in the first semifinal on May 9 together with representatives of Australia, Finland, Georgia, Portugal, Sweden, Belgium, Azerbaijan and a number of other countries.
