​PARLIAMENT TO MARK 80TH ANNIVERSARY OF EUGEN DOGA ON WEDNESDAY

On Wednesday, the Moldovan legislature will host several activities on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Moldovan composer Eugen Doga. The event includes an exhibition of photos, posters and books from composer’s personal collection and Moldovan Academy of Sciences’ archives. On this day, March 1, composer’s masterpieces will be performed in the Parliament by students of Eugen Doga musical school of Chisinau, Ciprian Porumbescu Musical Lyceum, choir “Vocile Primaverii”, Radio-Moldova quartet. The program will culminate with a performance of Eugen Doga himself together with Vasile Iovu – musician, who plays pan flutes. The activities will be attended by members of the Parliament, culture and art figures, diplomats. After the event, the composer will give autographs.
