GOVERNMENT TO UNIFY VACATIONS FOR ALL LEVELS OF EDUCATION

Starting from the next academic year (2017-2017), vacations will be unified for all educational institutions of the country. A corresponding order was signed by Prime Minister Pavel Filip. According to the Education Ministry, the following vacations are established for the next academic year: autumn vacation: October 30 through November 5, inter-semester vacation (in winter): December 23 – January 8, spring vacation: March 8 – March 11, Easter vacation: April 7 – April 16, summer vacation: June 1 – August 31. In recent years, lyceum students had less vacation than those who are attending gymnasiums.
