FIRST VOLUME OF EUGEN DOGA SONGS PRESENTED IN CHISINAU

The presentation of the first volume of the book “Love Dialogues” with songs and romances written by composer Eugen Doga took place in Chisinau on Wednesday night in the National Philharmonic. The event was conducted in the form of concert, during which the best known Doga’s masterpieces were performed by students of Ciprian Porumbescu musical lyceum, soloists of the National Opera and Ballet Theater, accompanied by the Symphonic Orchestra, conducted by Dumitru Carciumaru. The book was inspired by the love story of Moldovan poets Veronica Micle and Mihai Eminescu. The first volume of the book includes 25 songs and romances, written by Eugen Doga on Micle and Eminescu’s verses. The circulation is of 500 books; the additional issue and the second volume will be published if necessary funds are available.
