SECOND JAPANESE FILM FESTIVAL TO BE HELD IN CHISINAU ON OCTOBER 6-7
The second festival of Japanese movies starts on Thursday in Chisinau cinema “Odeon” within the Week of Japanese Culture on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Moldova and Japan.
According to the Japanese Embassy, which is festival organizer, the event will be opened at 18:00 by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Moldova Masanobu Yoshii, on whose initiative the festival is being held.
Embassy representative Tudor Strungari said that all the films will be screened with Russian subtitles. The admission is free.
Infotag’s dossier: Diplomatic relations between Moldova and Japan was established on March 16, 1992, while cultural events are being held at the initiative of Japanese Ambassador to Moldova for strengthening ties and cooperation between the two countries.
