MOLDOVAN MoJ ACCEPTS FIRST TRANSNISTRIAN DIPLOMA FOR APOSTILIZATION

The Moldovan Ministry of Justice has received the first Transnistrian education document for apostilization. The Tiraspol University diploma will be apostiled in accordance with the model agreed upon between the negotiation Sides and with a neutral symbolic.

According to Moldova's National Bureau for Country Reintegration, the employees of the MoJ apostilization section have undertaken necessary procedural measures in conformity with the legal frame in force, and provided necessary assistance to the applicant - explained what steps he should make to receive the Republic of Moldova's apostilization.

The Bureau representatives say that the Moldovan side has thus demonstrated that it realizes in practice the accords stipulated by the Protocol Decision "On Apostilization of Education Documents issued in the Transnistrian Region" dated November 25, 2017, and that the apostilization mechanism is functioning in conformity with the Moldovan governmental Resolution #138 of February 7, 2018 and with the Order issued by the Minister of Education, Culture and Sciences #120 dated February 6, 2018.

Due to the Transnistrian side's stated intention to test the apostilization mechanism, the Bureau has confirmed its resolution to fulfill its commitments and to take measures to create a common education area or to provide the Transnistrian youth with necessary possibilities for availing themselves of European education values.
