16TH ANNUAL PAINTING CAMP OPENS IN NORTHERN MOLDOVA

The 16th annual painting camp opened on August 9 in the village of Parcova, the Edinet Raion, where six artists from Moldova and Romania will bring together.

According to the cam organizers, the event aims at reviving the cultural life of Moldova through creating collections of modern art, creation and promotion of real works of art. The artists will organize master classes with the local creative young people and the center for painting documenting.

The paintings made within nine days in the camp will be exhibited in Cupcini.

Over the years the camp has collected more than 200 works of artists from Belarus, France, the Netherlands, Poland, Moldova, Romania, Russia, and Ukraine.

The camp is organized by the Romanian Cultural Institute in Chisinau in cooperation with the Edinet Raion Council, local authorities and the cultural association Parcova Nova.
