The International Documentary Film Festival “Cronograf” has started in Chisinau and will continue till May 28.

According to organizers, 49 documentary films will compete for festival awards in 5 nominations. The films were selected from 900 applications from 51 countries of the world.

One of novelties of this year’s festival is the event “Cronograf & Art Fusion”, which will take place on May 23 through 26 in the Chisinau pedestrian street. Within it, exhibitions of photos, paintings will be organized, as well as theatrical performances and handicraft workshops. In the evening, guests can watch contest films and shows with participation of rock bands.

Infotag’s dossier: Cronograf is held in Moldova since 2001 by the OWF Studio production center in partnership with Ministry of Education, Culture and Sciences, the National Filmmaking Center and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
