MOLDOVAN FOOTBALL TEAM TO FIGHT WITH TEAM OF KOSOVO ON THURSDAY EVENING

The national football team of Moldova (171 place in the FIFA rating and 51 in the UEFA rankings) starts on Thursday evening in the UEFA Nations League tournament with a match against the Kosovo team (114 and 46 places in the above mentioned ratings) in the Italian city of Parma.

As the sports correspondent said, the honor of Moldova will be defended by 14 footballers playing for clubs of Italy, Turkey, Holland, Portugal, Russia, Romania, Belarus, Azerbaijan, and 10 playing in the national championship.

In the composition of the Kosovo team, all the players called up under the national team's banners play in foreign clubs of Germany, England, France, Russia, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, and Sweden.

Football experts predict victory for the Kosovars, and bookmakers accept bets on the Moldovan team's winnings at odds of 1 to 7.2, and on the loss of -1 to 1.47.

The second meeting will be held by the team of Moldova next Sunday, September 6, on a visit to the national team of Slovenia (65 and 34).
