SPEARMAN ANDRIAN MARDARE IS NAMED BEST TRACK AND FIELD ATHLETE OF BALKAN COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP

Moldovan spear-thrower Andrian Mardare sent a missile in his best attempt at 83.60 m and won a gold medal at the Balkan Athletics Championships in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. As the president of the Moldovan Athletics Federation Anatolii Balan said, the organizers of the tournament recognized him as the best at the men's championship, for which he will receive a prize of 3,000 euros. The winner of the Balkan countries championship in the 5000 m run with a result of 14.09.23 minutes was also the Moldovan stayer Maxim Raileanu. There are three more bronze medals in the bank of Moldovan athletes. Hammer thrower Zalina Petrivscaia (67.17 m) and her brother Serghei Marghiev (72.74 m), as well as a command of four runners in the 4x100 m relay consisting of Iulia Dovganici, Tatiana Contribut, Anastasia Semchiv and Diana Podoleanu (coach Alexander Gancenco), who showed the result of 50.47 seconds.
