​PLAHOTNIUC MEETS WITH AMERICAN PEOPLE OF BUSINESS

The First Deputy Chairman of the Democratic Party of Moldova, Vlad Plahotniuc, held a meeting with the representatives of the U.S. business community in Houston, Texas, and inter alia described Moldova’s investment possibilities.

Plahotniuc said, in particular, that the Moldovan Government stands ready to ensure economic stability and development of major projects in the infrastructure development field. He described also the possibilities of running businesses within the framework of the public-private partnership in free enterprise zones and industrial parks in Moldova.

According to the DPM press release, Vlad Plahotniuc voiced hope that negotiations will give positive results in the formation of new business relations with Moldova.

The American people of business showed interest to the situation in the Moldovan agriculture and energy sector, and expressed a wish to visit Moldova to learn more about the republic and current situation in it.
