​ODIMM STARTS ACCEPTANCE OF DOCUMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION IN PARE 1+1

The acceptance of applications for participation in the Program on Attracting Remittances into the Economy PARE 1+1 for 2017 has started. According to the Organization for Small and Medium Enterprises Sector Development of Moldova, the consideration of applications and documents for financing will start on January 1, 2017.

The program is designed for migrant workers and/or their relatives of first degree of consanguinity, who want to invest and/or start their own business. It implies the providing of money for opening or developing personal business in the home country on the basis of 1 leu per each invested leu, but not more than 200 thousand lei.

For participation in the program, the applicant has to present copies of his ID card, documents that confirm his kinship with an emigrant, the emigrant’s labor contract and confirmation of the foreign source of money the applicant is planning to invest in the business. Also, a number of registration documents should be filled out.

The ODIMM maintains that the project budget for 2017 will be not smaller than the current – 40 million lei, which is by 10 million more than in 2015.

In 2016, 145 statements for providing financing have been approved.

As Infotag has already reported, the PARE 1+1 Program was launched in 2010. As of the beginning of 2016, 614 Moldovan citizens have already received grants worth 133 million lei within the program, while their own investments exceeded 350 million lei.
