​WIZZ AIR TO OPEN OPERATIONAL BASE IN CHISINAU AIRPORT

On March 28, the Hungarian budget airline Wizz Air will open its operational base at the Chisinau airport. On Friday, Logos Press economic review of Chisinau writes about the investment in the project which makes up – US$98 million.

“It will be the first operational base of a foreign airline at the Chisinau international airport. We do believe that Wizz Air is the “first swallow”. The airline has correlated their plans with the plan to build a backup runway. This will increase the number of routes to European cities, will attract other investor and airlines”, said Director of the civil aviation Radu Bezniuc.

The Logos press also writes that the airline “FlyDubai” returns to the Moldovan market.
