A new law on government procurement according to the European model was adopted, the policy in entrepreneurship and industry was improved. Laws on electricity and natural gas were adopted; importing prices on gas and electricity was lowered by approximately 28%, which contributed to further lowering of tariffs for average consumers. Besides, high-ranked coordination groups for energy market and energy systems' interconnection were created", deputy premier said.

According to him, the Government makes efforts for ensuring a better access to the Moldovan market, removing import and export duties as well as other barriers to trade.

According to the press release, EURONEST representatives appreciated the results achieved due to the DCFTA and expressed interest in exporting Moldovan goods to European sales markets and in new preferential possibilities of trade for investments to Moldova.
