IT-TECHNOLOGIES AND HEALTHCARE SPECIALISTS TO ELABORATE JOINT PROJECTS

The final stage of the contest on developing innovative projects in the field of informational technologies (IT) and medicine BreakingMed Hackaton will take place in Chisinau on October 19 through 22.

Project manager Olga Graur said that around 200 specialists are participating in the contest. They will form teams and will be actively working on different ideas of IT projects with medical purpose.

"Everyone knows how painful is the topic of Moldova's healthcare system. Thus we decided to improve it by means of innovative digital technologies, elaborated by interested specialists", he said.

According to her, authors of best initiatives will be given two months for project implementation, as well as financial support.

The BreakingMed entrepreneurial project is organized in Moldova for the first time. The first stage of the project was made of five thematic events with the possibility of using these in the medicine of the future - WEB, APPS, VR, 3D Printing and BIG DATA. The second stage will be held on October 14 in the form of "Design Thinking" seminar, aimed at initiation and preparation for creating Hackaton products.
