MOLDOVA RANKS 24TH IN WORLD RATING OF VODKA EXPORTERS

Moldova ranks 24th in the world rating of vodka exporters in 2017, going ahead of such countries as the Czech Republic, Georgia, Slovakia, Bulgaria. Over the year, Moldova sold vodka abroad for US$7.7 million, and its share in the global ranking was 0.4%. Sweden leads the polls - US$463 million (21.4%), France goes next - US$405.2 million (18.8%) and Poland - US$152.2 million (7%). Interestingly, Russia generally considers as vodka creator is in the 5th place with US$135.6 million (6.3%), while Ukraine is on the 11th. Romania did not get in the rating of 29 exporters.
