TAX REVENUES TO BUDGET INCREASED BY 4.8%
As of the beginning of October, the revenues from taxes to the national budget accounted for 28.7 billion lei (US$1.621 billion), which is 1.3 billion lei or 4.8% more than over the equivalent period of 2018.
According to the National Tax Inspectorate, most agency revenues went to the state budget – 12.8 billion lei (+3.4%).
Revenues to the Social Fund increased by 4.2% up to 9.7 billion, while to Health Insurance Fund – by 17.8% to 3.4 billion lei.
In contrast, revenues to local budgets shrink by 10.4 million lei and accounted for 2.8 billion lei.
Tax bodies traditionally are one of the basic sources for replenishing the state treasury. Following the results of the first half of the year, their deductions accounted for 8.523 billion lei – almost 47% of all the revenues of state budgets.
