NON-BANK CREDIT ORGANIZATIONS REVISE CREDIT TERMS FOR CUSTOMERS

Most non-bank credit organizations have revised credit terms for customers. The balance of loans in this segment is 8.5 billion lei. 7.1 billion lei of them (84%) is credited to the population, while 1.4 billion lei is credited to legal entities.
About 435.4 thousand customers (431.8 thousand individuals and 3.7 thousand legal entities) signed agreements with non-bank credit organizations.
According to the regulator, 18% (1.5 billion lei) of the loan portfolio was revised towards easing for 78 thousand people, 617 applications (0.14%) were rejected. Another 1.8 thousand applications (0.4%) are under consideration for easing credit terms.
As of June 10, 2020, the balance of overdue loans (more than 30 days) accounted for 14.8%.
