GHEORGHE ARPENTIN WILL CONTINUE WORKING IN OIV

The former Director of Moldova’s National Bureau of Vine and Wine, Gheorghe Arpentin, whose mandate has expired, will continue working in the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV). Last July, he became the first-ever Moldovan elected to OIV governing bodies. In particular, Arpentin came to head the Commission “Health and Security” that studies from the scientific and technical points of view the world wine sector, vines and other products made of grapes. Earlier, Gheorghe Arpentin was President of the Union of Enologists of the Republic of Moldova; the founder and then President of the Association of Small Wine Producers. Presently, he manages a 25-hectare vineyard and makes wines of the Black Pelican brand.
