MOLDOVAN AND JAPANESE BUSINESS PEOPLE BUILDING BRIDGES FOR COOPERATION

An online forum called “Business Bridges Japan-Moldova” began in Chisinau on Wednesday. It has brought together 60 companies and business support institutes from the two countries.

The forum was organized by the Organization for Small and Medium Enterprise Development of Moldova (ODIMM) and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). The forum initiative was supported by the GIZ-Moldova Agency of the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).

The three-day Forum program includes more than 30 bilateral meetings of the representatives of Moldovan and Japanese companies and enterprises.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Moldova, Yoshihiro Katayama, emphasized the importance of communication between the people of business of the two countries that may lead to consolidation of a mutually beneficial cooperation.
