DEMOCRATS MAY BECOME SECOND STRONGEST FORCE IN NEW PARLIAMENT – POPOV
The Democratic Party of Moldova may well become the second important-most force in the next Moldovan Parliament, presumes the just resigned Director of the Association for External Policy (APE), political scientist Andrei Popov, who is standing the 4th on the DP ticket for the July 29 early parliamentary elections. Popov told a news conference in Infotag today, the next Parliament will not have a dominating force, and that “centrist forces, like e.g. the Democratic Party, always find themselves in a more advantageous position at negotiations. I presume our opinion will be weightier at selecting candidates for essential state posts”.
