​TRANSNISTRIA CONDUCTS BANKING SECTOR MONITORING

The Transnistrian central bank started on Thursday the monitoring of commercial banks in the region. It aims analyzing situation in the financial sector within the context of general economic trends, identifying development perspectives, as well as problems, which demand regulator’s intervention. Workers of eight commercial banks are invited to answer a list of questions, grouped into the following sections: assessment of current situation and operations on attracting deposits and crediting; general terms of relations with clients, including combating of revenues laundering; perspectives and short-term plans of the bank. The monitoring will last until September 26.
