IMF TO HELP MOLDOVA TO REFORM TAX SERVICE

International Monetary Fund expert Maureen Kidd arrived to Moldova for providing technical assistance in reforming the state tax service.

According to the National Tax Inspectorate (NTI), during the two-day visit, Ms. Kidd together with local experts will study the structure of the service, focusing on the most vulnerable points. After that, a package of proposals will be presented for removing shortcomings.

During the visit, the IMF expert will participate in sittings of all the NTI departments, including at the regional level.

Infotag's dossier: This technical assistance is a part of the Project for Waste Management, which was launched in August 2016 and is designed for three years. The main financial assistance to the project is provided by the Netherlands.
