CUSTOMS SERVICE PROVIDED ALMOST 500 MILLION LEI TO STATE BUDGET LAST WEEK

Since September 18 through 23, 2017 the revenues to the state budget from the Customs Service accounted for 482.7 million lei, which is 2.7 million more than over the equivalent period of 2016. In total, 10,962 customs declarations were compiled. Over the above-mentioned period, 52 attempts of violating the customs legislation were prevented and are now investigated. Also, 24 cases of administrative violations were identified, as a result of which fines of 156.67 thousand lei were imposed.
