ALLOCATIONS FOR PROJECTS IN NORTHERN MOLDOVA WILL REACH 70 MILLION LEI

The National Regional Development Fund implies 69.3 million lei for implementation of projects in the northern regions of Moldova in 2018, which is 0.2 million lei less than in 2017.

According to the Nord Regional Development Agency (ADR Nord), five financed projects are directed to raising of the water supply systems, three each - to buildings' energy efficiency and business development.

The project of developing water supply and sanitation system in raions of Floresti and Soroca will be the most costly (21.7 million lei) and the building of water supply system in ten localities of the Glodeni raion (12 million). 6.3 million lei will be spent on raising medical center building in Drochia.

Around 4 million lei are provided for developing infrastructure of the wholesale market in the Riscani raion, 3 million - for winterizing medical center in Edinet. One million lei each is provided for building of an innovation technology center in Balti and for developing the Raut industrial park.

In total, the Regional Development Fund allocated 184.7 million lei in 2018.
