MOBIASBANCA PRESERVES HIGH QUALITY OF ITS CREDIT PORTFOLIO

Moldovan daughter of the French financial group Societe Generale - Mobiasbanca is keeping the quality of its credit portfolio high. Despite the growth of crediting volumes, the rate of unfavorable credits in the bank portfolio accounted for 5.86% as of the end of October, while in the system this rate exceeds 12%.

According to the analysis of the Moldovan banks' activity in October, published by the Banks & Finances Magazine, the growth of Mobiasbanca portfolio continued in October as well, when it issued new credits worth 58.4 million lei.

The bank balance demonstrates that in October the bank portfolio in Euros has slightly lowered against September, but it has grown in US dollars and the national currency - by 39.5 million lei.

The October financial result has slightly yielded to the September income (3.7 million lei), accounting for 24.9 million lei.

The Mobiasbanca's return on assets (ROA) reached 2.75% in October. The short-term liquidity fell to 49.50% in October from 50.38% in September. The rate of total own means fell to 23.96%, which is higher than regulator's normative.
