​MICB DECLARED AS MOLDOVA’S MOST INNOVATIVE BANK

The commercial industrial-construction bank Moldindconbank has for the second time declared Most Innovative Bank 2019 in Moldova in the annual rating “The Innovators 2019”, compiled by international financial publication Global Finance.

According to the bank, the MICB got the title due to the innovative service Mobile Cash, unique in the Moldovan market and the region’s countries.

“The service allows clients to easier and faster remove funds or to replenish the bank card account in MICB ATMs, or via a mobile telephone. Holders of MICB cards may implement free removal of cash or bank card replenishing without its physical using, while remittances to other persons from Moldova became even more convenient due to large network of ATM’s, accounting for over 240 units all across the country”, said MICB representative Vladislav Strisca.

Currently, thousands of clients monthly fulfill more than 20 thousand Mobile Cash transactions.

In the rating of innovations, MICB stands in one raw with other world banks: Alfa Bank (Russia), China Guangfa Bank, DBS (Singapore), FAB (First Abu Dhabi Bank, United Arab Emirates.

Infotag’s dossier: Moldindconbank assets accounted for 16.48 billion lei as of December 31, 2018, credit portfolio – 6.79 billion lei, capital – 2.59 billion lei, deposits – 13.11 billion lei. In 2018, the MICB achieved the highest return on equity (ROE) – 3% and return on assets (ROA) – 20.8%. The bank has 860 thousand clients, serviced by 1419 employees. In 2018, the MICB earned 500.3 million lei net profit.
