PRICES IN MOLDOVA GREW 0.8% IN SEPTEMBER

After three months of deflation, in September prices in Moldova grew 0.8% on average. The cumulative inflation year to date accounted for 4.9%, while the annual inflation - since September 2018 - 6.3%, which meets the National Bank of Moldova (NBM) target corridor - 5% В± 1.5%.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the September inflation is caused by the growth of tariffs for services to population, on average by 1.4%, prices on goods - 0.96% and non-food products - 0.3%.

Infotag's dossier: In September 2018 the inflation was 0.1%, while the annual - 0.9%. For 2019 the NBM initially forecasted the consumer price index within 5.4%. Then it has three times revised it, the last time lowering it to 5%.
