OPERATORS HAVE NOT INFORMED ANRE ABOUT FUEL PRICE RAISING YET

20 january, 2020

The National Energy Regulatory Agency has not received any notification about the decision to raise automotive fuel prices from petroleum product market operators.

On Friday, the ANRE issued a commentary on the change of fuel prices at gas stations. The Agency reminded that according to the legislation, operators have to provide to it proper calculations and arguments within three days since the introduction of new prices.

The ANRE also reminded that the prices on retail trade in gasoline, diesel fuel and the LPG are calculated given the importing price, the excise taxes and the VAT, the commercial and administrative costs, connected with the retail trade, as well as the profitability that should not exceed 10%.

According to the Agency, the 2020 fiscal policy implies the raising of the excise tax for gasoline - by 5960 lei/ton, which is 546 lei (10%) higher than in 2019, for diesel fuel - 2508 lei/ton (+228 lei or 10%), while for the LPG - 3580 lei/ton (+174 lei, or 5%).

As Infotag has already reported, on Friday the fuel prices at a number of gas stations have grown by 0.4-0.6 lei per liter on average, which is almost by 4%.
