GOVERNMENT ADOPTS THREE LAWS - ALSO UNDER ITS OWN RESPONSIBILITY

At its ordinary working meeting held on Wednesday, the Moldovan Government also adopted 3 laws, all under its own responsibility, too.

One of them pertains to changes in the Law on salaries in the public sector that are aimed primarily at ensuring an accelerated growth of labor remuneration to health sector employees.

Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection Viorica Dumbraveanu stated in this connection that with these new changes, the Government is preserving the extra payments introduced for the medical personnel during the COVID-19 pandemic period.

The Government approved amendments Tiraspol the Social Insurance Budget - on repaying of the survivors' benefit (to the families of medical workers who died of coronavirus), and the repayment of lump-sum allowances to pensioners low-income categories (nearly 600 thousand people with a monthly income below 3,000 lei), and the compulsory health insurance (which presuppose a growth of expenses by 533 million lei, including 362.6 million lei for higher salaries to health workers).
