CHINESE EMBASSY GIVES 26 LAPTOPS TO MOLDOVAN SCHOOLS

The Chinese Embassy donated 26 laptops with licensed software to the education system of the Republic of Moldova as a part of the "Give a Computer for Education" campaign on Monday.

As the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research said, its head Igor Sarov expressed gratitude for the gift to the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Moldova Zhang Yinghun, noting that even in this difficult for everyone time, China finds opportunities to help Moldova.

"China and Moldova have always had friendly relations. Distance study is very important these days that is why the Chinese Embassy supports those who need it. With this contribution, we want to provide at least one class with access to online study," said the Chinese diplomat.

The transferred laptops will be distributed by the government decision to educational institutions together with other donations made by Moldova's foreign partners.
