24 september, 2020

Igor Munteanu, chairman of the parliamentary commission for the control of public finances and deputy of the Platform DA, expressed dissatisfaction with the results of the audit in the ministries. On Thursday, he presented the commission's report based on the results of the audit conducted by the Accounts Chamber in eight of the nine ministries - the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Economy.

"Ministries neglect enterprises and public companies, and although they delegate their representatives to the board of directors, they are passive, inert, unable to defend the interests of the state," Munteanu said.

According to him, "by now, about 219 plots of land with a total area of 8,000 hectares, about 246 objects of real estate, and 52 buildings, which belong to the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture, have not been registered.

He said that the rights for about 165 properties and 167 land plots with a total area of 2.8 thousand hectares, which are managed by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Agriculture, are not protected.
