MOLDOVAN MFA CONFIRMS FACT OF TRANSPORTING TO RUSSIA OF ANABOLIC STEROIDS BY MOLDOVAN EMBASSY MINIBUS

The Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration has confirmed the fact of transportation to Russia of a contraband consignment of anabolic steroids by a minibus belonging to the Moldovan Embassy in Moscow.

Last Saturday, December 5, the Moldovan Customs Service reported the detention of a contraband consignment of anabolic steroids that were carried in the luggage hold of the minibus with diplomatic plates, which was moving from Chisinau bound for Moscow through the Palanca-Mayaki station on the Moldova-Ukraine border. It was established that the minibus belonged to the Moldovan Embassy in Moscow.

Judging by the photographs published by the Customs Service, the contraband consignment consisted of thousands of doses of anabolic steroids. The law enforcement started an investigation.
