MOLDOVAN ALCOHOL ARRESTED BY MILITIAMEN
Chisinau. The search and investigative actions in the “Aroma” Russian trade house are connected with the imports of Moldovan alcohol.
According to the Torgovyi Vestnic” (Trade Messenger) Russian newspaper, it received such information from the trade house, which is a large alcohol importer in Russia.
According to a press release by the Economic Security Department of the Ministry of Interior, last week, the Aroma storehouse and office were sealed in the connection with suspecting the enterprise of economic violations.
The newspaper gives the version of the Trade House, according to which over 400 thousand bottles of Moldovan wines and cognacs, “suspended” as far back as in 2006 in the connection with RosPotrebNadzor’s ban, were revealed in the storehouse. One of the Aroma employees began selling the banned products on his own initiative. By now all these goods were confiscated by militiamen and removed from the storehouse.
The Aroma trade house is the owner of the Vismos winery in Moldova and the French A. de Fussigny Cognac House. The company takes the 4th place in Russia in the imports of cognacs and brandies from a number of countries, including Moldova.
