BUDGET REVENUES GROWING UP

Chisinau. By the beginning of May the central budget revenues constituted 4.5 million lei (USD434.799 million) – 12.2% more than a year ago. The revenues on investment projects constituted 129.7 million lei.
Ministry of Finance Mariana Durlesteanu reported at a Government sitting on Wednesday that the expenditures exceeded 5 billion lei (+956 million lei), USD26.9 million were used to pay external debts.
The budgets of the administrative-territorial units were 105.7% fulfilled and reached 2.2 billion lei. The expenditures constituted 1.8 billion lei (67.7%).
The plan on contributions to the state social insurance budget was 108.5% fulfilled for four months (the target - 1.73 billion lei). The expenditures were 140 million lei more. The deficit is conditioned by the fact that 157.4 million lei were allocated on April 30 to pay pensions before May 5.
The compulsory medical insurance fund used 870.28 million lei or 103.3% of the target for the January-April.
