DAILY BUDGET REVENUES INCREASING

Chisinau. The daily budget revenues constituted on the average 51.5 million lei in the first quarter of 2008 against 44.5 million lei a year ago, Minister of Finance Mariana Durlesteanu said in her report on the budget’2008 execution for the first half-year at the Government sitting on Wednesday.
She said that the budget revenues for six months constituted 7.2 billion – by 10.1% more than the target and by 17.4% more against the same period of 2007.
The expenditures increased by 1.04 billion – up to 7.4 billion lei – almost by 10% less than the target.
The state used USD28.2 million for servicing its external debt and 264 million – its internal indebtedness.
The local budget revenues were executed 102.7% with taking into consideration transfers from the central budget and expenditures – 77.8%.
Contributions to the state social budget reached 2.9 billion lei - by 27% more than for January-June 2007, the expenditures constituted 1.98 billion lei (+24%).
The contributions to the medical compulsory fund accounted for 1.31 billion lei (+33.9%), the expenditures – 1.13 billion (+33%).
