MOLDOVA TO BE PRESENTED IN GERMANY

Chisinau. The Moldovans’ Society of Germany will organize from July 5 to 14 a number of cultural events in various German towns under the patronage of the Moldovan Embassy to Germany under the motto “Moldova Presents. The Moldovan-German Musical and Cultural Exchange”.
According to the press release by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the Taraf folk music orchestra of the Ciprian Porumbescu Musical Lyceum, as well artistic children’s and youth collectives from Berlin will participate in these events. Audience will have a possibility to taste Moldovan wines and dishes. The first concert of this series will take place on Saturday in the Maienburg castle in the Brandenburg land.
The culmination will be a charity action on July 12 under the motto “Your Heart – for Children of the Republic of Moldova”, which will take place in the Moldovan Embassy in Berlin. The objective of this action is to collect offerings for supporting children’s house with physical disabilities in the Visoca village of the Soroca raion.
The Acordionists’ Ensemble and the Dance Group of the Joseph-Schmidt music school (Berlin-Adlershof), as well as music groups from the Albert-Gutzmann and Humbolthain schools (Berlin-Wedding) will participate in the action, an exhibition of Painter Valeriu Curtu’s works, a photo exhibition and an exhibition of Moldovan children’s drawing will be organized.
The project is financed by the West-Östliche Begenungen Fund and by the Pankow hotel from Berlin, as well as by the Carmez and Trans-Alex-Tur Moldovan enterprises.
