That’s how the two free-lance lawyers perceive the yesterday’s decision of the governing Alliance for European Integration leaders to organize a national referendum on adopting a new Constitution.

MOLDOVAN PHYSICISTS TO HELP DOCTORS TO PROVIDE THEMSELVES WITH INNOVATIONS QUICKLY AND CHEAPLY

05.02.2010

Chisinau. The innovation community of the Moldovan science has marked the first signs of business interest in scientific-technical inventions for the Moldovan health protection. Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences Ion Tighineanu presented such summary at a sitting of the roundtable, which was held in the Ministry of Health on Thursday.

He told Infotag that he did not face sheer talks, which were abundant in the past, at this action, but genuine interest on the part of the medical leadership to innovation of science.

Proceeding from the results of the meeting, a working group is being set up, the board of the ministry will be conducted, and proposals for the Government will be prepared.

Participants in the roundtable discussed possibilities and prospects for introducing a number of electronic diagnostics and treatment devices, which were created by collectives of scientists and engineers under the direction of Professor Anatoli Sidorenco  (the Institute of Electronics and Nano-technologies of the Academy of Sciences), Professor Victor Sontea (Technical University), as well as the soft program for supporting the quality of the ultrasonic examination of Professors Constantin Gaidric and Svetlana Cojocaru (Moldovan University).

Their inventions and innovation, which were carried out abroad as well (Germany, “Roskosmos”), are provided with necessary technical documentation for their introduction into production and even for potential investors and manufacturers.

In experts’ estimate, it is possible to organize in Moldova the production of such number of this compact devices, in order to provide not only all the medical institutions, but also family doctors with them.

The cost of this technical modernization program for the Ministry of Health will be considerably cheaper than the purchase of foreign analogues. For example the price on imported electronic devices, applied in gastric therapy cardiology, surgery accounts for $5-7 thousand and those, which will be manufactured in Moldova, will cost $500-600.
