RUSSIA SAYS PROPORTION OF BAD MOLDOVAN WINES IS SHRINKING

Latest laboratory examinations have shown that the proportion of Moldovan wines that fail to meet health security requirements in the total amount of wine imports from Moldova is going down, officials from slump of its amount on the Russian market. The statement was made by the RosPotrebNadzor [Russian federal supervisory agency for consumer goods quality] are saying.
According to the Agency press service, labs revealed excess amounts of dangerous substances in 91 wine consignments from Moldova. The total amount of low-quality products is about 544.88 thousand bottles of wine and cognac with total volume of 960.29 thousand liters.
RosPotrebNadzor is considering a possible imposing of a ban on some wines made by the Moldovan companies of Salcuta, Basvinex and Vinaria Bostavan.
