Moldovan football champion Sheriff (Tiraspol) and Croatian leader Dynamo (Zagreb) have played a first match of the Champion League’s third qualification round in Tiraspol with a score 1:1. The Sheriff must not allow a 0:0 score in the return game in Zagreb to pass into the play-off round which precedes the group stage of the Champion League. The Tiraspol club is the only club of Moldova which continues to participate in European cups, another 3 Moldovan teams went out of the cup after second stage.
