FOUNDATION EDELWEISS AND PRIME CHANNEL SUPPORTING FLOOD VICTIMS

Foundation Edelweiss and television channel Prime initiated a campaign named “Where Is Their House” for flood victim assistance. In its framework the foundation decided to purchase housing for flood victims which left without a roof over their head. According to foundation’s press release, the organization will start handing keys to injured families starting from this week. On Wednesday, entrepreneur Vladimir Plahotniuc handed keys from the first house to a family from the village of Sarateni (Hincesti raion). Foundation Council chose families which will receive assistance in buying and repairing housing in free-flow neighboring raions in conformity with rules of supporting the most injured persons. The Edelweiss Foundation (the name comes from a plant growing in the Alps heights) is a nongovernmental organization aimed on realization of projects for Moldova’s development.
