MOLDOVAN MILITARY LEARN FROM AMERICAN COLLEAGUES

A group of Moldovan military pilots and medical staff took part in exercises to train evacuation of people injured in an air crush. The theoretical and practical parts of the exercises were held in North Carolina together with American colleagues.
Major Ion Cociug, Chief Specialist of Moldova Air Force Command, stated that the experience the Moldovan military have thus acquired and the U.S. colleagues’ knowledge are very topical for the local specialists, particularly in the present-day conditions, when flood consequences are still very great, and air force personnel are busy taking part in disaster mitigation operations.
The Moldovan delegation’s voyage to North Carolina became possible thank to constantly growing ties with the United States and thank to a developing strategic partnership with this American state last several years.
