25.08.2010
“Victor Topa with his mediators’ assistance took from me and my relatives the Victoriabank sock holding”, Galina Proidisvet said (she was the first vice-president of the bank till 2005).
According to her, the Economic Court of Moldova decided in March to return the “deprived” holding of stocks to its legal owners.
Galina Proidisvet said about her kidnapping in Moscow that she “would not wish something like that to anyone – no one of her relatives knew where she was during 5 hours”.
“Mediators told me I have children and grandchildren, and I should think of mine and their safety”, Proidisvet said.
She also confirmed the fact that criminal proceedings were started against her relating to her work in Victoriabank, so this was the reason she moved to Moscow. And Proidisvet said she does not know anything about Vladimir Plahotniuc’s participation in her kidnapping.
Infotag's dossier: Galina Proidisvet was one of Victoriabank founders, and being the initiative group member, decided to create the first private bank in Moldova in 1989. Proidisvet was the first vice-president till 2005, when a new stockholder group joined the bank. Victor Turcan was the bank president for 15 years. After the new stockholder group came, bank managers left the bank in suspicious circumstances.
