07.02.2012Approximately 75% children in Moldova aged 12 to 16 regularly use the Internet. In cities and towns, the figure is slightly higher – 80%, whereas in rural localities it is 70%, on the average.

FLEX PROGRAM FOR 2011-2012 LAUNCHED

The Moldovan office of the American Councils for International Education has announced the start of its FLEX Exchange Program for 2011-2012. Funded by the U.S. Government, the Program provides senior school students, including those with disabilities, with possibility to spend one academic year in the United States, studying at American schools and residing in American families. Program finalists are selected through a contest by independent experts in the field of international education and exchanges. The contest’s first stage is open to students of the 9th, 10th and 11th classes studying English.
