Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popsoi during his visit to Strasbourg met on Monday with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe Marija Pejčinović-Burić. As reported by INFOTAG, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs press service stated that the parties exchanged views on the political situation in the Republic of Moldova, the process of EU accession, and the dynamics of the regional situation.

The Finance Ministry has placed two and three-year state bonds totaling 128 million lei (7.3 million dollars). The National Bank of Moldova (NBM) told the INFOTAG correspondent that the average rate of fixed yield on these securities amounted to 4.93%, which slightly exceeds the annual inflation rate, which amounted to 3.94% at the end of March.
