​PSRM READY TO COOPERATE WITH GAGAUZIA PARLIAMENT

The Party of Socialists announced about readiness to cooperate with new deputies in the Gagauzia Popular Assembly (GPA) [autonomy’s parliament]. This is said in the PSRM statement, published after the second round of elections to the GPA.

According to the party message, within the second stage of elections to GPA, 5 PSRM candidates have won, as well as other 5 candidates with an open support from Socialists.

“The Party of Socialists is ready to cooperate with other independent MPs for supporting Gagauzia Bashkan [governor] Irina Vlah and the Executive Committee of the Gagauzia ATU. The Socialist Party is sure that new GPA members will continue the policy of strengthening the Moldovan statehood, supporting and improving friendly relations with Russia, protecting Gagauzia interests”, the statement says.

According to the document, the future PSRM faction in the GPA will cooperate with the autonomy’s Executive Committee, with the Socialist faction in the Moldovan Parliament, relying for support of the newly elected president.
