​MOLDOVAN AND UKRAINIAN MPs TO DISCUSS BILATERAL RELATIONS

The parliamentary delegation of Moldova, headed by Chairwoman of the parliamentary Standing Committee for Foreign Policy and European Integration Valentina Buliga, is making a two-day visit to Kiev.

According to the legislature press office, the delegation includes also Chairman of the parliamentary group of friendship with Ukraine Eugen Nichiforciuc, leader of the Liberal Party Mihai Ghimpu and Socialist MP Alexander Nesterovschii.

The visit agenda implies a number of meetings in the Sureme Rada [parliament] of Ukraine, in particular head of the parliamentary Standing Committee for Foreign Affairs Anna Hopko, acting Chairman of the Committee for European Integration Maria Ionova, head of the parliamentary group of friendship with Moldova Pavlo Ungurean.

The main topics of discussion are Moldovan-Ukrainian relations and two countries’ dialog with European structures.

Also, within the visit meetings with leadership of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry and the Moldovan Diaspora in Ukraine are planned.
